2010 Memorial David Gale Golf Tournament

We are pleased to announce a gracious donation from this annual tournament to our organization. Each year David Gale (Alum from BC College) hosts a tournament to honor his late father. He has chosen our organization since inception of the tournament to give the funds to. We could not be more honored. This year they raised $10,000 for our grant program. Thank you to the Gale Family for all the hard work that goes into making the tournament a success.

May 1st,2010 Golf Tournament 

Mother Nature held out and it was a beautiful day! Thank goodness as I could not take another phone call asking what we would do if it rained…… We had 27 teams this year and 19 sponsors. At the end of the day we ended up raising $6000.00 for our grant program. A huge thank you to Instant Imprints for the donations of the shirts for our golfers, and to all our hole sponsors. As always the volunteers for the day did all the work and made the day so easy for Bryan and I. Next event will be our summer comedy show… more details to come. Wine Auction March 27, 2010

What a successful evening. This year we had no snow so it was bound to be a good night. We had over 50 bottles of wine for sampling. We had a full house this year and it was our greatest year for donations. We ended up raising $2126.00 for our grant program. The hit wine of the night was the chocolate wine! Bobbi and Johnny our hosts always have great people that come out and support the event. Our big spenders closed down the night until the wee hours of the morning and they were still drinking up the wine… A huge thank you to all of Bobbi’s sorority sisters who help with this event. Feb. 27, 2010 Poker Event

What a great turn out this year, 123 players! As always it was a huge success. In the end the Foundation will end up raising close to $8,000 for our grant program. A huge thank you to Golden Oak Lending and Freedom Title for sponsoring our winning prizes. The volunteers and Kelly and James Hawkins once again shined and put on a great event.  

November 6, 2009

Our  first annual trivia night was sold out! We had sold 22 tables and it was a huge success. We were able to raise $4,287.00 for our grant program. We had some kinks in the sound system but overall there was a great deal of laughter and fun! Thank you to all who came out.

Sept 23, 2009 Comedy ShowThe show venue changed this year to Jive and Wail. What a great night! We had 137 folks come out and support the $2,900 dollars. Our featured comedian this year was the “Fryman”, he’s a must see. After the comedy show it was a night of the dueling piano’s. If you have not been to Jive and Wail put it on your to do list, a very fun night out. Thank you to the comedians and to all those that came out to the show.
